Jelly Gulp

You are a see-through jelly in a toy town. Swallow whatever is smaller than you and watch it settle inside your belly, then grow, evolve into nine forms with new powers, and eat your way through ten regions up to the moon. Beat three bosses, outsmart rival jellies and never see a game over.

How to play Jelly Gulp

  1. Touch the screen and drag to move your jelly. On a computer hold the mouse button and move the mouse, or use WASD or the arrow keys.
  2. Swallow anything with a green outline. A red outline means it is still too big. Everything you eat stays visible inside your see-through belly.
  3. The ring around the jelly fills toward the next size, and the bar in the goal card fills toward the next form. A dark silhouette hides a form you have not met yet.
  4. Each form brings a power. Use the big button (or E or Space) for it and the small button (or Q or Shift) to dash. Stomps and roars crumble big buildings into food.
  5. Every region ends with a gate that opens when you are big enough, or with a boss. Wait until it is tired, hit it three times with your power, then gulp it down to evolve.
  6. Rival jellies show up after a few minutes. A red name is bigger and hunts you, a green name is food.

Tips and strategy

  • Nothing can hurt you in the first three minutes, so learn the controls and grow fast.
  • A hit only costs a little progress inside your size step, never a size or a form.
  • Stuck without food? An arrow at the screen edge points to something you can eat.
  • Spend coins on the pads along the road for speed and suction, and come back tomorrow for the daily chest.

How many forms and regions does Jelly Gulp have?

Nine forms, from the Gooey Blob to the Cosmic Glutton, and ten regions, from the garden to the moon. A full run takes about 45 minutes.

Can I lose or restart the game?

There is no game over. A hit only costs a little progress, and an optional video can give it back when one is available.
