    Slice Splash

    Fruit flies up from below and you slice it with quick swipes. Every cut splits the fruit along your blade with a burst of juice. Chain several in one swipe for combos, land critical hits and stay away from the spiky bombs. Play Classic with three lives, a 60-second Timed rush with freeze, frenzy and double-points star fruit, or relaxed Zen with no bombs, then spend your stars on new blades and backgrounds.

    How to play Slice Splash

    1. Pick Classic, Timed or Zen on the title screen. One tap starts the game.
    2. Swipe across the screen, or drag with the mouse, to slice the fruit flying up. A slow drag does not cut.
    3. Each fruit is worth 1 point. Cut three or more in one swipe for a combo, worth one bonus point per fruit.
    4. Never slice a spiky bomb: in Classic it ends the run, in Timed it costs 10 points.
    5. In Classic, every fruit that falls costs one of three lives. Each 100 points gives a lost life back.

    Tips and strategy

    • When fruit is tossed in a group, wait a moment. Near the top of the arc it bunches up, and one long swipe catches it all.
    • Keep swipes short when a bomb is close. Touching the edge of a fruit is enough to cut it.
    • On a phone, two fingers give you two blades, which helps when fruit comes from both sides.
    • In Timed, grab the glowing star fruit: blue slows time and stops the clock, orange starts a Frenzy and gold doubles your points.
    • Zen has no bombs and lasts 90 seconds, so it is the best place to practise long combos.

    What are stars and medals for?

    Every run earns stars based on your score and best combo. Each mode has bronze, silver and gold medals that give bonus stars. Spend stars in the Shop on six blades and six backgrounds.

    What is a Critical?

    A Critical is a lucky, extra-clean cut worth 10 more points. Fast swipes land it more often.

    Is Slice Splash free?

    Yes. It is free to play in your browser on Popyca, with nothing to download or install and no account needed.

    Can I play Slice Splash on my phone?

    Yes. It works on phones, tablets and computers. Tap Play to open it full screen; you can hold your phone upright or sideways.

    Does Slice Splash save my progress?

    Yes, automatically in this browser. It keeps your stars, the best score and medals of each mode, and the blades and backgrounds you have unlocked. Sign in with Google on Popyca to keep your progress in your account and continue on another device.
