Avalanche Dash: Penguin Snowboard

Snowboard down a snowy mountain as Pip the penguin while a giant avalanche rolls after you. Tap to jump, hold to backflip and fill the Rush meter to evolve your ride into a sled, bobsled, snowmobile and rocket sled across six winter worlds.

How to play Avalanche Dash: Penguin Snowboard

  1. Tap, click or press Space to start. Pip the penguin rides down the slope by himself; you time the jumps and tricks.
  2. Tap to jump over rocks, logs, snowmen and ice spikes. Fish arcs above obstacles show the right line.
  3. Hold in the air to backflip, then let go so the board levels out. A flat landing is a Perfect with a speed boost; landing upside down is a crash.
  4. Fish, flips, perfect landings and smashed obstacles fill the Rush meter. A full meter evolves your ride: Snowboard, Sled, Bobsled, Snowmobile, Rocket Sled. Bigger rides are faster and smash obstacles.
  5. Watch the avalanche marker on the left. A crash costs one ride step, and the avalanche gets faster the further you go.
  6. Spend fish on upgrades and riders, finish missions to rank up and open the daily gift for a seven-day streak.

Tips and strategy

  • Jump a little early: the jump carries you forward.
  • Kickers and drops give the most air. Hold right after take-off to fit a double flip.
  • Let go early enough so the board can straighten before landing.
  • The ice on the Frozen Lake is fast: use it to pull away.
  • Head Start lets you begin on a Sled or Bobsled, which makes the first slopes safer.
