Voxel Vale

Build anything you can imagine in a bright voxel world. Fly over grassy hills, sandy beaches and a cosy village, then place and break more than 40 kinds of blocks: woods, stones, glass, colourful wool and lamps that glow at night. Fill boxes and lines, copy and paste whole builds, undo any mistake, keep three worlds and share them with friends.

How to play Voxel Vale

  1. Press Play to build in a new Meadow world, or open My worlds and pick Meadow, Island, Village or Flat.
  2. Walk with WASD or the left stick. Look around with the mouse after clicking the world, or drag on the right side of the screen.
  3. Right click or tap to place the block from your hotbar. Left click or hold a finger on a block to break it; on a phone the button next to the arrows also switches to Break mode.
  4. Press F or the wing button to fly. Space or the up arrow goes up, Shift or the down arrow down.
  5. The tool button in the top left holds Line, Box, Copy and Paste; the arrows next to it undo and redo.

Tips and strategy

  • Box fills an area in two clicks: pick one corner, then the opposite one. Break on the second corner instead to clear the area.
  • Lamps really light up the blocks around them. Switch to Night with the sun button and watch your builds glow.
  • Place 300 blocks to unlock the Neon pack with glowing neon blocks, amethyst and a rainbow block.
  • Water and glass are see-through, great for windows.

Voxel Vale FAQ

How do I share a world with a friend?

Open My worlds and press Share. A lightly edited world becomes a short code to copy; a bigger one is saved as a file. Your friend presses Import in My worlds and pastes the code or opens the file.

How big is a world and how many can I keep?

Every world is 64 by 64 blocks wide and 32 blocks tall. You can keep three worlds at the same time and start each one from Meadow, Island, Village or Flat.

Is Voxel Vale free?

Yes. It is free to play in your browser on Popyca, with nothing to download or install and no account needed.

Can I play Voxel Vale on my phone?

Yes. It works on phones, tablets and computers. Tap Play to open it full screen; you can hold your phone upright or sideways.

Does Voxel Vale save my progress?

Yes, automatically in this browser. It keeps up to three worlds with everything you built, your hotbar, your camera view and the unlocked Neon pack. Sign in with Google on Popyca to keep your progress in your account and continue on another device.
