    Twinkle Lights: Christmas Puzzle

    Turn the tiles of a festive light string so the power flows from the golden star to every bulb, and watch the whole tree twinkle to life. Relax through 100 levels shaped like trees, wreaths, bells and snowmen, melt ice tiles, master ribbon pairs and twin stars, and come back every day for a new daily puzzle.

    How to play Twinkle Lights

    1. Tap Play to start the next level, or open Levels to pick any unlocked level.
    2. Tap or click a tile to turn it clockwise. Right-click turns it back; on a keyboard, the arrow keys pick a tile and Space turns it.
    3. The golden star powers the light string. Wires joined to the star glow, and every joined bulb lights up.
    4. The level is solved when every tile glows and every bulb is lit, with no loose ends.
    5. Finish in few moves for three stars. The box at the top shows your moves and how many are left before you drop a star.

    Tips and strategy

    • Start at the edges and corners: tiles there can only face a few ways.
    • Bulbs sit at the ends of the string, so a bulb on the edge must point its wire inward.
    • From level 21 some tiles are frozen. They cannot turn until a lit wire points into them, so work outward from the star.
    • From level 41 tiles with the same bow turn together; from level 61 two stars share the string.
    • Stuck? A candy cane turns one tile the right way and locks it. Earn them with three-star clears, every tenth level and the daily puzzle.

    What is the daily puzzle?

    Every day brings a new, bigger puzzle, the same for everyone. Solving it gives two candy canes and grows your day streak.

    How do I unlock new lights?

    Stars unlock new bulb sets on the Lights screen: Warm White at 30 stars, then Candy Cane, Frost, Golden and Rainbow. Every level gives up to three stars, 300 in total.

    Is Twinkle Lights free?

    Yes. It is free to play in your browser on Popyca, with nothing to download or install and no account needed.

    Can I play Twinkle Lights on my phone?

    Yes. It works on phones, tablets and computers. Tap Play to open it full screen; you can hold your phone upright or sideways.

    Does Twinkle Lights save my progress?

    Yes, automatically in this browser. It keeps your stars and best move counts for all 100 levels, your candy canes, your chosen bulb set and your daily puzzle streak. Sign in with Google on Popyca to keep your progress in your account and continue on another device.
