Gemby: Block Puzzle Gems

Drag colourful gem blocks onto an 8 by 8 board and clear full rows and columns to score. Chain combos, collect the gems and break the ice in Adventure levels, or chase your best score in endless Classic. Earn coins for new themes.

How to play Gemby: Block Puzzle Gems

  1. Pick one of the three blocks in the tray at the bottom and drag it onto the 8 by 8 board with your finger or the mouse. Let go to place it.
  2. Fill a whole row or column to clear it. Clearing several lines at once, or clearing again right after, builds a combo and scores much more.
  3. In Adventure, each level has a goal: collect a number of gems or reach a score. Gems sit inside some blocks, and ice blocks need to be cleared twice.
  4. In Classic there is no goal. Keep placing blocks for as long as you can and chase your best score. An unfinished game is kept so you can continue it later.
  5. When no block fits, the game is over. Retry, or watch a short video once to clear the middle rows and keep going. Spend coins on new themes from the menu.

Tips and strategy

  • Always look at all three blocks before you place the first one, and plan where each will go.
  • Keep the board tidy. Leaving one long empty row or column makes every long block easy to place.
  • Save big blocks for open space and use small blocks to fill gaps and finish lines.
  • Complete the daily quests and come back every day to grow your streak and earn bonus coins.
