WARD B2

Night shift in a closed hospital ward, 1998. The power is out and a porcelain doll keeps turning up where you just were. Find the keys, three fuses and a keycard, bring the lights back and walk out in about ten minutes. Mild atmospheric horror, no gore. In-game text is English.

How to play WARD B2

  1. Start the tape and walk the corridor with WASD or the left thumb stick. Look around with the mouse, or drag on the right side of the screen on a phone.
  2. Press E, click, or tap USE when a prompt appears. You can open doors, read notes, take items and open drawers. The objective in the corner tells you what to look for next.
  3. Find Del's keys to unlock maintenance, then collect three fuses hidden around the ward and put them in the fuse box to bring the power back.
  4. With the lights on, search the sister's office for her staff keycard. You need it to open the exit at the end of the lobby.
  5. Before you leave you can pick up the porcelain doll, or walk out without it. The two choices lead to two different endings.

Tips and strategy

  • Press F or LIGHT to switch the flashlight on and off. Small items glint in the dark.
  • Read every note. They tell the story of the ward and hint at where the fuses and the keycard are.
  • Press Q to show the current objective again, and hold Shift to walk faster on a keyboard.
  • Not every door is meant for the main route. Looking for a way into Ward C can reward you with a secret.
  • Play with sound on. Footsteps, phones and the hum of the ward are part of the mood.
