Dice Rally

Dice Rally

Roll five dice, keep the ones you like and fill a 13-box scorecard in this friendly, classic Yatzy-style dice game. Chase your best score solo, outsmart one to three computer opponents with different styles, or pass the device around the table with friends. Watch real 3D dice tumble, plan for the upper bonus and go for the big Yatzy.

How to play Dice Rally

  1. Tap Roll to throw all five dice. You get three rolls on every turn.
  2. After a roll, tap the dice you want to keep. Held dice slide into the Hold lane. Tap them again to release them.
  3. Roll again to re-throw the dice that are not held. You can stop early whenever you like.
  4. Pick a box on the scorecard. The preview numbers show what each box would score right now. Tap a box and tap it again, or press the Score button, to confirm.
  5. Each box is used once. After 13 turns the card is full and the highest total wins.

Controls

Tap Roll / Space throw the dice   Tap a die / 1-5 hold or release it   Tap a box / Enter select and confirm your score

Tips and strategy

  • Chase the upper bonus. Reach 63 in Aces to Sixes, which is three of each number, and you collect 35 extra points.
  • Keep 3 of a Kind and Chance open as safe places to dump a bad roll.
  • Early on, keep pairs and triples of high numbers. Late in the game, fill the box that costs you least, even with a zero.
  • Go for a straight only when you already hold three or four in a row after the first roll.
  • Hard computer opponents play the odds. Beat them with the upper bonus and by saving your Large Straight box.
