    Flag Master

    Guess the flags and capitals of all 196 countries plus 31 territories in a bright, fast quiz with a spinning world globe. Travel through continent packs and earn stars, race the clock in Time Attack, last as long as you can in Survival and play the Daily Quiz that is the same for everyone. Every wrong answer shows you the right flag on the map, so you really learn them.

    How to play Flag Master

    1. Press Play for the next Journey level, or pick Journey, Daily Quiz, Time Attack, Survival or Classic.
    2. Each question shows a flag, a country or a capital. Tap the right answer out of four, or press 1 to 4 on a keyboard.
    3. Fast answers earn a speed bonus, and a streak of right answers multiplies your points.
    4. After a wrong answer, a card shows the correct flag, its name, its capital and where it is on a small globe.
    5. Each Journey level has 10 questions: get 6 right to pass, 8 for two stars and all 10 for three stars.

    Tips and strategy

    • Start with World Stars: it teaches the best-known flags before the continent packs mix in harder ones.
    • Check the details on look-alike flags: Ecuador has a coat of arms that Colombia lacks, and Ireland and Ivory Coast share colours in opposite order.
    • In Time Attack a wrong answer costs 3 seconds, so keep a steady pace instead of guessing.
    • Survival gets harder the longer you last and ends up with islands and territories.
    • Open the Atlas to study: tap any flag to see its capital and where it is.
    • Africa unlocks at 9 stars and Islands & Territories at 36, so replay levels for three stars.

    How many flags are in the game?

    There are 227: all 196 countries (the 193 UN members plus Vatican City, Palestine and Kosovo) and 31 well-known territories such as Greenland, Puerto Rico and Hong Kong.

    Is the Daily Quiz the same for everyone?

    Yes. Every day brings ten new questions, the same for all players. Your first try counts for your day streak; after that you can replay it as practice.

    Is Flag Master free?

    Yes. It is free to play in your browser on Popyca, with nothing to download or install and no account needed.

    Can I play Flag Master on my phone?

    Yes. It works on phones, tablets and computers. Tap Play to open it full screen; you can hold your phone upright or sideways.

    Does Flag Master save my progress?

    Yes, automatically in this browser. It keeps your stars, best scores, daily streak and the flags collected in your Atlas. Sign in with Google on Popyca to keep your progress in your account and continue on another device.
