Hop Aboard

Tap passengers onto the bus that matches their color before the five benches fill up. Hop Aboard has 240 levels with tunnels, mystery passengers, linked pairs and padlocks, a fresh daily level, and Undo, Shuffle and extra Bench boosters.

How to play Hop Aboard

  1. Tap a passenger who has a clear path to the street at the top. Front-row passengers can always leave; the others can go once the way ahead is empty.
  2. If the passenger matches the color of the bus at the stop, they walk on board. Every bus holds three and honks away when full, then the next bus rolls in.
  3. If the color does not match, the passenger sits on one of five benches. When a bus of their color arrives, waiting passengers hop on by themselves.
  4. If the benches are full and nobody free can board the current bus, the level is lost. Plan ahead with the row of upcoming buses.
  5. Stuck? Undo takes back a move, Shuffle rearranges the crowd and + Bench opens a sixth bench. Each booster can be used a limited number of times per level.
  6. Send off every bus to win: 3 stars with no boosters, 2 with one booster, 1 with more.

Tips and strategy

  • Check the upcoming buses before you tap. Use a bench only when nothing better is available.
  • Take free passengers that match the current bus first. It costs no bench and opens paths.
  • Clear whole columns when you can: one good tap can free several passengers.
  • Mystery passengers (?) show their color only when they can leave, so keep one bench free for surprises.
  • Tunnels keep feeding the bottom row; the number shows who is left. Padlocks open after that many buses leave. Linked pairs leave together.

How many levels are there?

There are 240 levels in twelve chapters, from small 3 by 3 crowds to big 7 by 8 crowds, plus a new daily level. Tunnels, mystery passengers, linked pairs and padlocks arrive step by step.

Can every level be solved?

Yes. Every level was checked with a solver, so there is always a way to win without boosters.

Is Hop Aboard free?
