Arrow Escape

Every arrow wants out! Tap an arrow to slide it off the board in the direction it points, but only if nothing is in its way. 40 handmade-feeling levels grow from cozy 4x5 boards to packed 9x12 tangles, with a daily puzzle, stars and hints.

How to play Arrow Escape

  1. Look at the arrows on the board. Each one is a snake-like line with a pointed head, and the head shows the way it will slide.
  2. Tap an arrow whose path from head to the edge of the board is completely empty. It slides out along its own body with a whoosh.
  3. If another arrow sits somewhere in the way, the arrow bumps and you lose a heart. Find the blocker and send that one out first.
  4. Keep clearing arrows. Each one you remove opens paths for the others.
  5. Clear the whole board to finish the level. Keep your hearts to earn three stars.
  6. Use Undo to bring the last arrow back and Hint to see an arrow that is free right now.

Tips and strategy

  • Start with arrows that already point at an empty edge. Free arrows are never a mistake, so you can always tap them safely.
  • Trace the line in front of a head with your eye before you tap. Any other arrow crossing that line is a blocker.
  • When two arrows point at each other's cells, look for a third arrow that frees one of them.
  • Chain quick taps for a combo: eight safe taps in a row unlocks a special achievement.
  • Stuck? The Hint button glows around an arrow that is free right now, but using it caps a level at two stars.

Can I get stuck in Arrow Escape?

No. Every level is built so that a free arrow always exists until the board is empty. The only way to fail is to run out of hearts by tapping blocked arrows.

How do I earn three stars?

Finish the level without losing a heart and without using a hint. Each lost heart or hint lowers the result by one star.

Is Arrow Escape free?
