Brain Games
27 games
Logic, words, memory and planning: games that give your brain a workout, with a small reward when a puzzle finally clicks.
Exercise different kinds of thinking
Different games train different skills. Sudoku and Minesweeper are pure deduction: every move should follow from the numbers on the board. 2048, Car Park Escape and Draw Rescue are about planning ahead and spotting what to move first. Word Spark and Word Hunt stretch your vocabulary and pattern spotting, and Flag Master tests what you know about the world.
For slower, more visual puzzles try Mahjong Garden, Tile Trio or Color Pour, where you plan several moves before you commit. FreeCell is a card puzzle that is almost all skill. Pick a level you can finish, then move up: most of these games have difficulty settings or levels that get harder as you go.
Frequently asked questions
Do brain games really make you smarter?
There is no proof that any game raises general intelligence. Regular puzzles are still a good way to practise focus, pattern spotting and planning, and they make a fun break. Treat them as a workout you enjoy, not a cure-all.
Which brain game should I start with?
Try Sudoku for logic, Word Spark for words or 2048 for planning. All three are easy to start and get harder as you improve.
Are there brain games with a daily challenge?
Yes. 2048 has a daily board that is the same for everyone, and Word Spark and Flag Master offer daily challenges, so there is a fresh puzzle each day.
Are these brain games free to play?
Yes. All of them are free in your browser on a phone or computer, with no download and no account.
