    Ember & Frost

    Guide two elemental heroes through 33 handcrafted temple puzzles. Ember, a little flame sprite, wades through lava and Frost, an ice sprite, swims in freezing water, but each is doomed in the other's pool and green poison stops them both. Pull levers, hold pressure plates, ride lifts, push crates and bend beams of light with mirrors across three temples, alone or with a friend on one keyboard.

    How to play Ember & Frost

    1. Pick Solo or 2 Players on the title screen. In 2 Players, Ember moves with W, A and D and Frost with the arrow keys.
    2. In Solo, move with the arrow keys or WASD and switch heroes with E or Shift, or tap a hero. Phones get on-screen buttons.
    3. Ember is safe in orange lava and Frost is safe in blue frost water. Lava burns Frost, water puts out Ember and green poison is deadly for both.
    4. Use the temple: walk through levers to flip them, stand on plates, ride lifts, push crates and aim light beams at crystals with mirrors.
    5. Bring Ember to the flame door and Frost to the snowflake door at the same time to clear the level.

    Tips and strategy

    • Every level gives three stars: one for finishing, one for collecting every red and blue gem and one for beating the time shown on the result screen.
    • Red gems belong to Ember and blue gems to Frost. Plan who walks through which pool before you move.
    • Crates hold plates down for you and work as steps. Two stacked crates reach even higher ledges.
    • Mirror crates bend light by a quarter turn. Watch where the beam ends and push the crate until it shines into the crystal.

    Yes. Choose 2 Players: one player steers Ember with W, A and D, the other steers Frost with the arrow keys.

    How many levels are there?

    33 levels in three temples: the Moss Temple teaches pools, levers, plates and lifts, the Sand Temple adds crates and the Crystal Temple brings light beams and mirrors.
