Merge Legion

Buy little soldiers, drag twins together to merge them into stronger heroes and send your legion to battle on four floating worlds. The armies fight on their own, so the plan is everything: tough fighters in front, shooters behind. Beat the bosses, buy upgrades and merge your way up to the crystal titan.

How to play Merge Legion

  1. Tap a buy button to recruit a soldier onto your board of 15 tiles. New recruits show up on an empty tile.
  2. Drag a soldier onto its twin (same type and tier) to merge them into a stronger one. Drag onto an empty tile to move a soldier, or onto Sell to turn it into coins.
  3. Place tough soldiers in the front rows and archers and mages behind them. The power meter compares your army with the enemy before every fight.
  4. Press Fight. The armies charge on their own: swords clash, arrows fly, shields hold the line and mages throw glowing orbs.
  5. Win to earn coins and move on to the next level.
  6. Spend coins on soldiers and on upgrades: Sharp Blades, Iron Armor, War Chest and Barracks. Beat the boss of each world to open the next one.

Tips and strategy

  • Merging early is usually worth it, but keep one free tile so you can always buy another soldier.
  • Check the power meter. If the enemy is much stronger, merge and upgrade first instead of fighting.
  • Bosses have their own moves: ground slams with a warning circle, leaps onto your back line and guards called to help. Keep your front line strong.
  • The Barracks upgrade makes new recruits arrive at a higher tier, which saves many merges later.
  • Open the daily gift each day. Your war chest also keeps filling while you are away, up to two hours.

How many levels does Merge Legion have?

There are 60 levels across four worlds, with a boss every fifth level and a world boss every fifteenth. After that the endless levels continue.

Which soldiers can I get?

Swordsmen at the start, then archers, shield bearers and mages in later worlds. Each line has six tiers.

Is Merge Legion free?

Yes. It is free to play in your browser on Popyca, with nothing to download or install and no account needed.

Can I play Merge Legion on my phone?

Yes. It works on phones, tablets and computers. Tap Play to open it full screen; you can hold your phone upright or sideways.

Does Merge Legion save my progress?

Yes, automatically in this browser. It keeps your board, coins, level, upgrades, best progress and your daily gift streak. Sign in with Google on Popyca to keep your progress in your account and continue on another device.
