Block Nights

Chop trees and mine rocks by day, then wall the bridges and survive the cute but spooky nights. Every few nights your campfire evolves from a spark into a fort, a watchtower and a lighthouse, until the Eclipse rises.

How to play Block Nights

  1. Move with WASD or the arrow keys, or drag on a phone. Walk to a tree or a rock and press Space or E, or click, to chop it for wood and stone.
  2. Spend wood and stone on walls, towers and traps. Place them on the bridges before the sun goes down, because that is where the creatures will come from.
  3. When night falls, creatures cross the bridges toward your fire. Keep the fire alive and let walls, spikes and towers hold them back.
  4. Survive the night to see the dawn card and evolve your fire: Spark, Campfire, Camp, Fort, Watchtower and Lighthouse Beacon, each one unlocking new defenses.
  5. Rescue castaways, explore dungeons for gems, upgrade your gear and get ready for the giant of the dark on night 38.

Tips and strategy

  • Build more walls on the bridges than you think you need: they hold the creatures longer while your towers shoot.
  • Spikes on the bridges stop diggers, and flame towers and cannons hit whole groups.
  • Rescued survivors fight around the fire and find gems on the shore while you are away.
  • Claim the tomorrow chest and your free daily dungeon key every time you come back.

What happens after night 38?

Night 38 is the finale, the Eclipse. After you beat it the game goes on with endless nights, milestone rewards, the Sun Monument and a New Island+ run.
