Splinter Spin

Time your throw and plant every knife in a spinning target without ever touching another blade. Splinter Spin has endless stages that speed up, reverse and stop, a boss every fifth stage that shatters when the last knife lands, apples that pay coins, 12 knives to unlock and a new daily challenge.

How to play Splinter Spin

  1. Tap, click or press Space to throw the knife waiting at the bottom of the screen.
  2. The knife sticks into the spinning target. Throw every knife shown at the bottom left to clear the stage.
  3. Never hit a knife that is already stuck in the target, whether you threw it or it was there from the start. That ends your run.
  4. Hit apples on the rim to earn 3 coins each. Clearing a stage pays a few coins more.
  5. Every fifth stage is a boss with more knives, more stuck blades and its own tricky spin. When the last knife lands it cracks and breaks apart.
  6. Spend coins in the Knives screen to unlock new blades, then try the Daily Challenge: six fresh targets.

Tips and strategy

  • Watch the gaps, not the knives. Throw when a gap is about to sweep past the top of the target, because the blade needs a split second to fly.
  • Frost Disc stops for a short moment. Throw during the pause, but do not count on it lasting long.
  • Place early knives with care. The last ones are the hardest because the gaps get small, so keep wide spaces open.
  • Take an apple when the gap is wide and skip it when the gap is tight. A clean stage matters more than three coins.

What happens when I lose?

You restart from the last boss you beat, which is your checkpoint. Your best stage, coins and unlocked knives stay saved.

How does the Daily Challenge work?

Every player gets the same six targets each day, the last one a boss, plus one modifier such as faster spin or more apples. Your first attempt of the day counts toward your streak, and clearing it pays a coin reward once.

Is Splinter Spin free?

Yes. It is free to play in your browser on Popyca, with nothing to download or install and no account needed.

Can I play Splinter Spin on my phone?
