In Draw 1 you turn over a single card from the deck at a time, so every card in the stock can be played. It is the faster, more forgiving way to play Klondike and a good place to learn the game.
Tap the deck to flip one card onto the waste pile. That card can go straight to a column or a foundation if it fits.
When the deck is empty, tap the empty spot to turn the waste over and go through it again. Standard scoring has no limit on passes, though each recycle costs 100 points.
Build the seven columns downward in alternating colours, and send Aces and their suits up to the four foundations.
Win by moving all 52 cards to the foundations.
Tips and strategy
On the first pass, play from the columns first and draw only when you must, so hidden cards get a chance to open.
After one pass you know the order of the whole stock, because the cards come back round in the same sequence. Leave a card in the waste until the right column is ready for it.
Do not empty a column unless a King is ready to move in.
Yes. With Draw 1 every card in the stock is reachable on each pass, so far more deals can be won. Draw 3 only lets you play the top card of each group of three.
Can I switch between Draw 1 and Draw 3 in the game?
Yes. Open Options inside the game and the change applies from your next deal. Each setting keeps its own stats and best score.
