Vegas solitaire is Klondike played like a casino game. Every deal starts 52 dollars in the hole, as if you had paid a dollar a card, and you win 5 dollars for each card you send to a foundation. Clear the whole deck and you finish 208 dollars up.
Each deal starts at -$52. A card moved to a foundation earns $5, and taking one back down costs $5. No other move scores.
Passes through the deck are limited: three with Draw 3, which is how this page starts, and a single pass with Draw 1. A counter shows how many are left.
The layout and moves are the same as normal Klondike: alternating colours on the columns and a King for every empty column.
Your results add up in a running Vegas bank across games, so a bad deal can be won back in the next one.
Tips and strategy
Only the foundations score, so the columns are just a means to an end. Eleven cards on the foundations already puts you in profit.
Count your passes. On the last pass, play everything you can reach before the deck runs out.
Pulling a card back from a foundation costs $5, so only do it when it unlocks several cards.
Prefer the classic scoring? Go back to Draw 3 or Draw 1.
Vegas Solitaire FAQ
How much can I win in Vegas solitaire?
The most you can make in one deal is $208: all 52 cards on the foundations at $5 each, minus the $52 buy-in. Getting 11 cards up already puts you in profit.
Do Vegas games count for the leaderboards?
No. Vegas deals add to the running bank on your stats screen but are not posted to the score boards, so the standard Draw 1 and Draw 3 boards stay comparable.
