2048 Time Attack Time Attack turns 2048 into a sprint. You get two minutes on the classic 4x4 board, and the goal is the highest score you can reach before the clock runs out, not a particular tile.
How to play 2048 Time Attack The clock starts on your first move, so you can look at the board before you begin. Merges of 128 or more add bonus seconds: +2 for a 128 tile, +3 for 256, +5 for 512, +8 for 1024 and +12 for 2048. There are no undos in this mode, so every swipe is final. When time runs out the game ends and your score decides your stars. The star targets are 1500, 3000 and 5000 points. Tips and strategy Do not just swipe randomly. Keep your biggest tile in a corner so the big merges that give bonus time keep coming. Speed helps, but a board that jams costs far more time than a slow swipe. Stay tidy first, fast second. Chase 128 merges early. They are the first tile that buys you extra seconds. To play without a clock and with undos, try the roomier 5x5 . 2048 Time Attack FAQ How long does a Time Attack game last? It starts at 120 seconds and grows with every big merge, so a strong run can last well past two minutes.
How are stars decided in Time Attack? Stars come from your final score instead of your biggest tile: 1500 points for one star, 3000 for two and 5000 for three.
